A 24-year-old Pembroke man was this afternoon charged with the attempted murder of Jeremiah Dill last October.Noet Alexander Barnett appeared in Magistrates' Court this afternoon charged with attempted murder, using a firearm to commit the offence of attempted murder, and handling a firearm, a Rexio RJ series .48 revolver.Appearing in a blue jump suit, Mr Barnett remanded silent throughout proceedings. He was not required to plea because the charges must be heard in the Supreme Court.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner ordered Mr Barnett remanded in custody until the matter is mentioned on January 31.
