A patient gained access to the roof of the Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute and threatened to kill himself on Saturday.However, a police negotiator was able to convince the man to come safely back into the building without harming himself.It has not yet been confirmed how the patient gained access to the roof.According to a Police spokesman, rescue workers arrived at the facility a few minutes after 5pm on Saturday.“It appears that a patient made his way onto the roof and was threatening to do harm to himself,” the spokesman said. “As a result police negotiators were called to the scene and began a very detailed process of talking to the patient.”
