A Warwick man pleaded not guilty to stealing over $1,000 worth of miscellaneous items yesterday in Magistrates? Court.

Dunavin Nesbitt, 44, of Stadium Lane, was charged with stealing ten Euro, one silver Treo cellular phone, two Playstation games, one DVD and a black wallet on December 29. The total value of the items was $1,044.85.

The defendant also denied dishonestly receiving the goods.

Nesbitt was bailed in the amount of $2,000 and his trial will take place on April 26.

A Pembroke woman denied unlawful assault yesterday in Magistrates? Court.

Cassandra Franklin, 42, of Union Street pleaded not guilty to one count of unlawful assault on August 20.

She was bailed in the amount of $2,000 until her trial on April 16.
