Efforts to float the Government tender Bermudian, today proved unsuccessful.
The vessel was torn from its mooring during Hurricane Igor, and came to rest on rocks near Wellington Slip Road.
A spokesperson for the Department of Marine and Ports said: “The department made an attempt to float the Bermudian using two of our tugs.
“They managed to move the vessel about five feet, but ultimately they were unsuccessful from dislodging it from the shelf it is resting on.”
The spokesman said that a team would again attempt to float the vessel in a few days.
