Police have attended two reported firearms incidents in Pembroke this lunchtime.

The first was at about 1.15 p.m. when gunshots were heard on Overview Hill.

A Police spokesman told The Royal Gazette: “There was no report of any injuries.”

The second incident happened on Angle Street just after 1.30 p.m., when what was believed to be a firearm was branished.

The spokesman said: “Police attended both incidents and inquiries are ongoing.”
