Police search for South Shore attacker

Police are hunting a man who swung a ?sword? at a motorcyclist in the early hours of yesterday.The victim, a 56-year-old man from Warwick, told officers that he was riding west along South Road in Paget at about 2.45 a.m. when a light-skinned male walked into the road and swung a bladed article which looked like a sword at him. He was not injured.

The suspect, who was slim, about five feet, eight inches tall, weighed approximately 150 pounds and was wearing a grey sweat top and grey pants with a red stripe on the side, made off towards the Coral Beach Club. Inquiries into the incident are underway and anyone with information should call Police on 295-0011.
