A17-year-old man appeared before Magistrates Court in connection with an alleged robbery involving two tourists last week.

On January 11 Adrian Whitescross allegedly robbed Thomas Schrenk of $172, as well as his leather wallet with credit cards. He is also accused of robbing Luke Gillian of $35.

He was also charged with possessing a knife.

He was not required to enter a plea as the matters will be dealt with in Supreme Court and was remanded into custody.
