Teenagers arrested over robbery

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 26: Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a robbery from a 34-year-old man, police said today.

At about 7.40pm yesterday police were called to a robbery on Crawl Point Lane West, in Hamilton Parish, near the junction with North Shore Road.

A Police spokesman said: “It appears the victim was riding a motorcycle when he was accosted by a group of men. The assailants then fled the scene on foot with one taking the victim's motorcycle. The man sustained minor injuries which did not require medical treatment.

“His motorcycle was subsequently recovered and two suspects, a 19-year-old Hamilton Parish man and a 15-year-old man from Pembroke were arrested near the scene in connection with this incident.”
