Two cars damaged after crashes

Police are investigating two accidents involving two cars on Sunday.The first accident happened at 9.05 a.m. when a 33-year-old man lost control of his car and collided with the curb, near the junction of Middle Road and Lighthouse Road.As a result, the car overturned causing extensive damage to the front of the car. However, the driver was not injured. The driver was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of a pre-existing medical condition and was later released.

The second accident happened at 1.30 p.m. at the junction of Middle Road and Tribe Road #3. A 39-year-old Southampton man lost control of his car as he negotiated a left hand bend. The car collided with a wall and received extensive damage, but the driver was not injured.
