BAS offers two education awards

As part of what it says will be an on-going commitment to the development of its personnel Bermuda Aviation Services has announced two education awards for eligible employees and their dependents.

Known as the BAS Chairman's Education Award and the BAS President's Education Award, they are designed to provide opportunities for employees and their dependents to further their education through either vocational or academic institutions locally and abroad.

The Chairman's Education Award will provide $10,000 per year for education at universities for up to four years, while the President's Education Award will provide $5,000 per year for an associate's degree at the Bermuda College for up to two years.

BAS Group president, Eugene Bean said: "BAS is committed to providing educational assistance for the advancement of its employees and their dependents. Our focus is on providing opportunity to individuals with ability and drive to accomplish more but lack the means to pursue their aspirations."
