Bermudians for Referendum turns to electronic mail
Bermudians for Referendum is turning to electronic mail in its ongoing battle for a referendum to decide the question of Independence.
Bermudians for Referendum member, Pat Ferguson, said the group was asking recipients of the e-mails to back the idea of a referendum sooner rather than later. ?As you are aware, Bermuda is at a crossroads, and we need your help in our fight for a referendum to be held on its own, and not linked to a General Election,? she said ? something which is repeated in the e-mail.
Ms Ferguson said the group was also appealing to e-mail recipients to send a response to patfnorthrock.bm or kerenlomasyahoo.com as well as forwarding the e-mail to as many people as possible. She said the group had just started sending the e-mail out and hoped that in weeks to come, Bermudians would voice their support of a referendum electronically.
She added that they were trying to build up an e-mail database of supporters.
