Households were today warned of scattered daytime power outages planned for next month.

The outages are linked to repair work Belco is to conduct across the Island.

Crews will be working throughout October to “effect permanent repairs to the electricity transmission and distribution system”, a company spokesperson said today.

The repairs follow temporary repairs made after Hurricane Igor to ensure power was restored to homes as quickly as possible.
