The Island’s ferry service is to be suspended as of tomorrow.

Government announced the move in a statement issued this evening.

The move was said to follow discussions between the Bermuda Industrial Union and the Department of Marine and Ports earlier today.

“Following on from today's union discussions, the Department of Marine and Ports is advising the public that tomorrow (Wednesday, September 29) the ferry service will be suspended until further notice,” a spokesperson said.

The spokesperson said the public would be informed once service resumed.
