Breaking News: Police investigate discovery of badly burnt body
Police are today investigating the discovery of a badly burnt body in St. David’s and say foul play has “not been ruled out”.
The fire service and Police were called out at 5.27 a.m. to Burches Point, just off St. David’s Road, right behind the Black Horse restaurant.
A Police spokesman said: “The fire service responded with three appliances and ten men and when they arrived they noticed a small concrete structure fully engulfed in flames.
“The fire was brought under control and extinguished in a matter of minutes. However it was then noticed that a person was in the structure at the time of the fire and died as a result.
“A joint investigation is being conducted and foul play has not been ruled out.”
