Police seized 45 cannabis plants from land in Crown Hill Lane, Devonshire, this afternoon.

Officers from the Police Support Unit visited the scene, located behind a derelict house, at around 4 p.m. as the result of “information received”.

They pulled the plants out of the ground and said inquiries were ongoing to find out who was behind their cultivation. It was the third seizure of marijuana plants in the space of five weeks, after similar operations in Cochrane Road, Somerset and Curving Avenue, Pembroke.
