A man’s body was found by tourists at Tobacco Bay in St. George’s at about noon today.

Police are still at the scene on Anchorage Road and have yet to identify the body, which was discovered in a coastline area.

A Police spokesman said: “The body was apparently found by some visitors to the Island and they subsequently reported it to the Police. It appears to be a caucasian male.”

Asked if Police were linking the body to the disappearance of 26-year-old British national Martin Molinski, the spokesman said: “It’s early on in the investigation. Police are conducting inquiries in the area. It’s an ongoing investigation and they are doing what is necessary.”

Police are asking anyone who might have information to call them on 295-0011.
