Cereals taken off the shelves
Kellogg Cracklin' Oat Bran cereal in Bermuda is being recalled after some of the ingredients were not declared on the package.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs, milk or soybeans run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the product.
Affected by the recall are 327,400 packages of 17-ounce boxes with the UPC code of 38000 04530, and best before dates of June 19, 2003, July 17, 2003, July 18, 2003, or July 19, 2003 printed on top of the package.
These packages were distributed through grocery stores in Bermuda and Puerto Rico.
No illness of allergic reactions have been reported to date in connection with these problems.
