Inaccurate BIC reports still available

The Department of Communication and Information said copies of the Bermuda Independence Commission (BIC) report were available from its office in Global House, Church Street. However, Director Beverle Lottimore said the reports remained uncorrected. ?They are as they were delivered to us by the BIC Commission,? Ms. Lottimore said yesterday.

In late October, the BIC Commission took out a large ad in apologising for its inaccurate claim that independence had never been decided by referendum ? when the method was used here ten years ago by Sir John Swan. It also said the reason the full United Bermuda Party submission was left out of the report was because it was not referred to in the main text.
