A 44-year-old man appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday for allegedly assaulting his wife.

Crown counsel Carrington Mahoney read the two charges against Anthony Cameron of Curving Avenue, Pembroke in court.

One charge was for allegedly assaulting his wife, Tiyeasha Cameron, and the second was for unlawfully wounding her on January 30 of this year .

Cameron pleaded not guilty to both charges.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo set bail at $5,000 and Cameron’s trial will be on May 18.
