The Botanical Gardens is set to get a host of exciting new additions such as a butterfly house and songbird aviary.
The new gardens management plan also calls for an education centre, children's discovery garden, agricultural museum, education centre, a rose collection, an ethno-botanical collection, and a carnivorous and curious plant exhibition.
Environment Minister Dennis Lister unveiled the new innovations yesterday, and said the full plan would be published in January for the public to inspect.
The new attractions will be introduced over a three year period, and will include renovations to the indoor cacti house, formal garden, rock garden, herbarium, woodland, and sensory garden.
