British Airways has announced a series of budget UK-Bermuda round trips on selected periods this year.

Airfares start at $850, including all taxes, fees and charges, subject to availability, from April 18 to June 30; and from September 1 to December 9. Ticketing must be completed before April 29.

Bermuda was one of more than 60 destinations across the world announced in the BA seat sale.

BA's local manager Marianne Wilcox said the offer applies for travel originating in the UK. She added that for passengers travelling through Gatwick Airport the baggage allowance has now reverted to the original two carry-on bags.

BA is presently operating a daily service to London.
