Successful Harbour Nights season draws to a close
The last Harbour Nights of the season will take place tonight after one of the most successful summers ever according to organisers.
In this year?s finale, people will get a chance to dunk local celebrities ? including Thaao Dill from HOTT 107.5 and senior bank staff ? in the Bank of Bermuda?s dunk tank.
The evening will kick off with speeches from Sport and Community and Cultural Affairs Minister Dale Butler, Hamilton Mayor Lawson Mapp, Bank of Bermuda?s head of personal financial services Richard Brown and Chamber of Commerce executive vice-president Diane Gordon.
The events will be led by ?Bootsie?, and the PRIDE (Parent Resource Institute for Drug Education) Youth Performance Team, Bermuda Idol vocalists and dancers from United Dance Productions are all scheduled to perform.
The evening will close with a performance by the H&H Gombeys.
?We are pleased to be able to bring some of the performers here, to Harbour Nights, for them to share their exceptional talents with our visiting guests and members of our local community,? said Mr. Brown.
