Swan calls for solution on Southside sewage

Recycled water could be used on golf courses, said the Senator, rather than depleting the lenses.

He also launched a stinging attack on Government?s handling of tenants facing eviction from Government property in St. George?s.

He said tenants in Anchorage Road faced a bleak Christmas and that even the most reserved of tenants had became very angry about the handling of the situation ? although most were resigned to going.

Government wants to renovate the apartments but some could not find find acceptable accommodation, said Sen. Swan.

?Government has abdicated its responsibility,? he said.
