Two injured as violent bike robbers strike

Simon Brooks was was going to hospital to visit his grandfather when two men dressed in black on a cycle called out to him.

He pulled over to hear what the men had to say when he was pulled off his Yamaha. The men drove away with his bike. The victim described his attackers as being about 5'8” and 5'9” tall with brown skin.

The missing bike was described as being a two-month-old Yamaha V50 with license plate number 940AE.

And on Monday, a Lagoon Drive, Paget resident, reported that at about 7.45 p.m. that evening his cycle had been violently robbed from him when he was on the road.

As the complainant was riding on South Road, Devonshire near Collector's Hill he said someone shouted to him. He continued to drive until another cycle came up alongside of him near the Botanical Gardens. The passenger of the other bike then jumped off the cycle and punched the complainant in the face, after which they rode off with the man's bike.
