Students at Spice Valley Middle School will not be returning to school on Monday as planned, The Ministry of Education announced last night.

The 280 pupils will now start the new term on Wednesday, September 19 - two days later than hoped. The late start date is due to even further delays in refurbishment work to the building, which was hampered again this week by the threat of Hurricane Erin, and the storm, which resulted in a loss of power.
