Woman charged with assault

A 38-year-old woman was charged with assaulting another woman over the weekend.Wendy Ingemann, of Wellington Slip Road, St. George?s, did not have to enter a plea for causing grievous bodily harm to Tanya Darrell because the alleged offence is indictable.It was alleged that she assaulted Ms Darrell on February 10 in Pembroke. She was also charged with possessing a weapon ? a clear glass goblet ? and violently resisting arrest. She was granted $2,000 bail and will return to court on February 20.
