A Bob Marley fan took to the streets yesterday with a message of goodwill on an international day celebrating the memory of the reggae star.
Edmund Smith, 42, from Southampton, brandished a large placard at the Hamilton traffic yesterday lunchtime which read: "Have an irie Bob Marley Day."
He has maintained the tradition for the past five years, and explained: "It's about peace, love, brotherhood and unity. We need more in the world."
Passing motorists honked their appreciation of his gesture, with passers-by coming over to shake his hand.
