A tourist woke in her guest property to find a burglar had broken into the room.

The thief stole a light blue wallet containing cash, a silver Blackberry cell phone and other personal items in the raid in Pembroke at about 4.30 a.m. yesterday.

It was the second time this week that a visitor to the Island was the victim of a burglary.

Between 11 p.m. on Monday and 6 a.m. on Tuesday, an intruder struck at a Paget guest property, stealing a wallet containing cash, a Motorola Razr cell phone and a grey i-Pod.

In another break-in, an offender took cash and jewellery in an incident at Steele's Drive, Paget, between 7.30 p.m. on Monday and 7.30 a.m. on Tuesday.
