A motorcyclist suffered arm and leg injuries after a road accident with a bus.

The 50-year-old Sandys man was travelling east on Middle Road, Southampton, in the Barnes Corner area, when he attempted to turn on to South Road on Monday, at about 11 a.m.

His vehicle collided with the bus, which was heading north.

The motorcyclist sustained abrasions to both legs and his right arm but declined medical attention. None of the bus passengers, nor the bus driver, a 54-year-old Devonshire man, were injured.

The bike was extensively damaged, but there was no damage to the bus.

Witnesses should call Police on 295-0011.
