The identity of a 41-year-old Bangladeshi national found dead last week has been released by the Bermuda Police Service.

John D'Costa was found in a non-responsive state at Clear View Suites and Villas in Hamilton Parish around 8.30 a.m. on Friday.

He was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital by ambulance but was pronounced dead at 8.55 a.m. the same morning by an on-call physician.

There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances, however, an autopsy is anticipated.

The Bermuda Police Service extends its "sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased".

School break-in

Dell flat-screen computer monitors were stolen from Sandys Middle School this week.

Police attended a reported burglary at the school and spoke with the complainant who said that sometime between 9 p.m. on Monday and 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday, and unknown culprit broke into a classroom and stole two flat-screen monitors.
