Dignity at Work Policy unveiled
Government has announced a new Dignity at Work Policy and Procedure aimed at treating every employee with dignity and respect.
As part of its commitment to be the employer of choice, Government said it designed the policy not only to ensure that every employee is treated with dignity and respect, but also to capture warmth, charm and a high level of civic consciousness.
A Government spokesperson said the policy is to set an example for public and private sectors.
The Royal Gazette has requested a copy of the new policy but had yet to receive it at press time.
The policy is seen as a positive step that will moderate the relationships among young people who work for the Government.
"Dignity at Work Policy and Procedure is being widely communicated across Government ministries and departments to ensure all employees are aware of it.
