A 20-year-old Devonshire man suffered minor injuries over the weekend after the car he was driving overturned and struck an embankment.

Police received a report of the incident at around 3.45 a.m. on Saturday, which happened on Middle Road, Devonshire near the junction with Leeson Lane.

The circumstances of the collision remain unclear, however, it appears that the car was travelling east on Middle Road when the driver lost control of the car.

The driver sustained minor cuts and bruising as a result and the car was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
