A quantity of cash, jewellery and personal items were stolen from a Hamilton Parish residence while the occupants were off Island.

Police spoke with the resident who reported that while he was overseas an unknown culprit broke into his home and stole the items.

On Friday, money was stolen from a North Shore Road, Pembroke residence.

Police attended the apartment where the resident said that sometime during the day an unknown culprit broke in and stole a quantity of cash.

Over the weekend, there were six people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and five reported burglaries.

There were also ten reported damage only road traffic collisions, one reported road traffic collision resulting in injury and seven vehicles reported taken without their owners' consent.
