Human Rights Commision conducting survey
The Human Rights Commission will carry out a survey of members of the public and the business community this week.
It is part of a comprehensive research campaign aiming to provide data that will help the HRC in its work and with public relations and education.
The survey will ask people about their experience of discrimination, knowledge of their rights and attitudes toward the HRC.
According to the HRC, 400 randomly selected Bermuda residents will be contacted by the researchers, with the survey taking around 15 minutes.
Chairperson Venous Memari said: "This initiative is the first benchmark survey to be undertaken by the Human Rights Commission. "I would like to encourage all residents contacted to participate in the survey to ensure its success."
