Man denies cannabis importation charge

A Pembroke man was charged with importing the controlled drug cannabis into the Island.Randolph Richardson, 41, of Glebe Road, was arrested April 30 at the L.F. Wade Airport on suspicion of importing cannabis and possession of cannabis with the intent to supply.The amount of cannabis was not disclosed in Magistrates' Court.

Randolph Richardson, 41, of Glebe Road, was arrested April 30 at the L.F. Wade Airport on suspicion of importing cannabis and possession of cannabis with the intent to supply.
The amount of cannabis was not disclosed in Magistrates' Court.
Because the matter must be heard in Supreme Court, Richardson was not required to enter a plea.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo bailed Richardson in the amount of $5,000. He is represented by Llewellyn Peniston.
