Man robbed, stripped to his underwear
A 49-year-old man was stripped to his underwear by a group of teenagers who robbed him of cash and personal items. Police said the victim was walking near the junction of King Street and Middletown Road, in Pembroke, when he was approached by the group.
One of them pushed the Pembroke man to the ground and then the teenagers took off his pants, which has some cash and personal items, then took off his shirt, shoes and jacket as well as his watch. They left him semi-naked but uninjured.
The incident happened at 4.15 a.m. on Sunday and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The man described one of the suspects as being approximately six feet tall and heavy set. All of the suspects are believed to be in their teens and were wearing dark clothing.
Inquiries into this incident are underway and Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit at 295-0011.
