Police have named father-of-one Colford Ferguson as the victim of Friday's shooting.The 29-year-old was shot dead at around 2pm in Mangrove Bay, Somerset.Detective Chief Inspector Nicholas Pedro said an investigation into Mr Ferguson's killing was now underway."The Bermuda Police Service is utilising all available resources to gather the evidence with which to catch the killer of Mr Ferguson," he said in a statement released yesterday."Officers are visiting local businesses, residences, and social spots to identify and glean information from witnesses."Increased resources will be deployed to the Somerset area, providing both an investigative and visible uniform presence."Ch Insp Pedro said officers are now helping Mr Ferguson's family to come to terms with his death."Mr Ferguson was a single man who lived in Warwick, and leaves behind a four-year-old daughter to grieve his passing. The Bermuda Police Service is closely assisting Mr Ferguson's family to get through this difficult time.
