Thieves stole new appliances from a home that is undergoing renovations in Pembroke.

On Wednesday, Police attended a home on Rockville Lane where the complainant told them that between 10 p.m. on Tuesday and 2 p.m. on Wednesday someone had broken into the home and taken a brand new Whirlpool refrigerator and a stackable Whirlpool washer and dryer. A home in Southampton was also broken into on Wednesday and thieves made off with a flat screen TV and HP laptop computer, among other things.

The thieves also took a digital camera, a conventional 35mm camera, an ‘Oris’ gold watch, several DVDs and a DVD player from the Rebecca Road residence.

No one was at home during the break in. Police are investigating break-ins.
