Flights to and from New York yesterday fell victim to the snow storm gripping the US.
American Airlines cancelled flights 686 and 415 to and from Bermuda International Airport.
The storms, which dumped more than two feet of snow on some areas in the central and east areas of the States, have been blamed for eight traffic deaths and have left tens of thousands of people without power.
They caused air travel delays along the east coast, with some air companies cancelling 20 percent of their New York flights.
The chaos comes after a host of cancellations and major delays in Bermuda as a result of freezing conditions in the US earlier in the month.
