Two incidents of burglary were reported to Police between Tuesday evening and early yesterday morning.

Police responded to the first incident at a residence on Old Road, Hamilton at 6.40 p.m. yesterday[NOTE]Tuesday, February 7[\NOTE].

The complainant said between 8.30 a.m. and 6 p.m. someone entered his home, which was unoccupied, and stole $200 US in cash.

The second incident at a residence on Somerset Road, Sandys was reported to Police at 2 a.m. yesterday morning.

The complainant said that around 1.50 a.m. an unknown man entered his house and woke him up.

He confronted the intruder who escaped on foot, but not before he took $50 in cash and a Samsung cell phone.

The suspect is believed to be a brown-skinned male, approximately 5 ft 11 in tall, slim and wearing a blue hooded top.

Police are investigating both incidents.
