Woman denies stealing $202,000

A mother of two was charged with stealing more than $200,000 from her former employer on Friday in Magistrates' Court.
Karla Trott, of Spring Benny Road, Sandys, was charged with eight counts of theft from Bermuda Realty.
The court heard Crown counsel Nicole Smith allege that between November 28, 2002 and April 2006, the 39-year old allegedly stole $202,000 by writing cheques to herself and withdrawing cash multiple times.
Trott was bailed in the amount of $10,000 with one surety. She is represented by Elizabeth Christopher.
