West end residents looking to get their vehicles tested are advised to now take their vehicles to a new Transport Control Department (TCD) West End station.

The new 'satellite' station is located at the Marine and Ports' Aids Navigation workshop.

This is as a result of the pending closure of the Boaz Island Shell Gas Station, which also served as the vehicle testing site.

The Marine and Ports workshop is located opposite the Dockyard boat slip. Signs will be posted advising the public of the new location.

From March 31 to April 28, the testing facility will operate every Monday between 9.00 a.m. to 3.45 p.m. For more information contact TCD at 292-1271.
