Thieves stole a TV after breaking into a home while the occupant was away overseas.

The offenders targeted the property in Ord Road, Paget, at some point before 5.40 p.m. on Tuesday.

They stole a grey 18-inch Panasonic flat screen television and about $10 worth of coins.

Police are investigating the incident.
