Warrants issued for men who failed to attend court

A warrant was issued yesterday morning for a man accused of wounding who failed to attend court.Marwon Keshon Bean, 29, of Redcoat Lane, St. George's, was due to appear at Supreme Court charged with unlawfully wounding Che McCannon Hollis with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

Marwon Keshon Bean, 29, of Redcoat Lane, St. George's, was due to appear at Supreme Court charged with unlawfully wounding Che McCannon Hollis with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

Puisne Judge Carlisle Greaves issued a warrant not backed for bail for him after he failed to turn up on time.

A warrant was also issued for Theron Noel Williams, 21, of Town Hill Road, Smith's, who is accused of causing grievous bodily harm to Etel Cameiro DaSilva by driving dangerously and causing grievous bodily harm to Sebastian Jose De Morais by driving while impaired on January 30, 2005.

Williams' lawyer Leo Mills said his client was in hospital. Mr. Justice Greaves issued a warrant backed for bail for him.
