Visitor Christine Alfano, 22, of Melrose, Massachussetts, was involved in a collision with her jet ski instructor of the Blue Water Divers water sports facility on June 4 at the Marriott's Castle Harbour Resort.

As a result of the crash Miss Alfano suffered a badly broken leg and bruised knee.

"We are talking to a lawyer who is researching the case,'' Miss Alfano told The Royal Gazette yesterday.

Miss Alfano had previously accused the Blue Water Divers facility of being "unprepared'' for the accident. She had come to the Island with a group of six friends aboard the Norweigan Majesty for a graduation cruise.

Miss Alfano said she has recently started a physiotherapy programme.
