A heroin addict, who admitted a list of thefts, will learn of her fate on Monday.

Carla Joyce Johnson, 39, asked that seven more offences be taken into consideration when she appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Johnson, who is serving nine-month and six-month consecutive prison sentences, asked that all the charges be considered along with another charge not yet before the court.

Senior Magistrate Will Francis agreed and ordered Johnson to reappear on Monday.

Crown counsel Charmaine Smith told Mr. Francis that Johnson -- who is also known as Fatima Ruqayyah Al-Khattab -- stole two cheques from Leonard Tacklyn between April 1 and 8.

On April 8, she forged and uttered the cheques and unlawfully received $475 in cash and goods at Shelly Bay MarketPlace in the name of Fatima Al-Khattab.

Johnson also pleaded guilty to entering a private home at Kings Gate Lane, Hamilton Parish, between 6 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. on April 25.

Johnson was disturbed by the homeowner. She told the woman she was looking for her (the woman's) son.

A short time later, a bank bag containing $200, a roll of quarters, a gold bracelet, gold chain, personal papers and house keys was missing.

The woman's son traced Johnson to a house on Friswell's Hill, Pembroke, and all items, except the $200 in cash, were recovered.

Johnson also pleaded guilty to stealing a purse containing $195 from another woman.

The Good Samaritan had given Johnson a ride from Ord Road, Warwick to Arnold's Supermarket in Pembroke on April 30.

The woman noticed the purse was missing after Johnson left the car. The owner reported the theft to Police.
