leg injuries after his bike slammed into a car this weekend.

The man suffered his injuries after his livery cycle collided with the car at Paget traffic lights on South Shore Road just before midnight on Saturday.

A witness who was at the nearby After Hours restaurant reported seeing bike parts strewn across the road, which was closed for an undisclosed amount of time.

The driver of the car, a 44-year-old Paget man, was not believed to have been seriously hurt. The 26-year-old man's cycle was "a write-off,'' Police said.

An investigation into the accident is still being conducted. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed it to call P.c. James Outerbridge at 299-4264.
