Huan Todd, of Douglas Drive, Smith's Parish, pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to inviting a child to commit an indecent act in his presence on December 20, 1995.

Prosecutor Sgt. Phil Taylor said a 13-year-old Warwick boy was walking his dog along South Road in Warwick when Todd rode alongside him.

Duty counsel Duncan Hall said Todd had been admitted to St. Brendan's on several occasions since 1980 suffering from manic depression.

Todd's mental welfare officer Chris Tuckett told Senior Magistrate Will Francis that prior to the incident Todd had not been taking his medication.

Mr. Francis sentenced Todd to three years probation on the condition that he submit to treatment.

DISORDER IN THE COURT CTS Disorder in the court Misbehaving in court yesterday earned an inmate an additional three months prison sentence.

Robert Greene, who is serving an almost three-year sentence at Westgate for armed robbery, pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to receiving a stolen bike sometime between April 11 and 13.

Police prosecutor Sgt. Anthony Mouchette said the owner of the bike reported it stolen on April 11 from South Road in Paget.

Two days later, on April 13, Greene was stopped by Police while riding the bike.

Sgt. Mouchette said Greene told Police that he had paid someone $10 to use the bike.

In October 1996 Greene served a 14-day prison sentence for theft and in July 1995 received a six-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, for stealing a bike.

Magistrate Cheryl-Ann Mapp activated Greene's six-month suspended sentence and ordered him to serve a year in prison for receiving the stolen cycle. Both sentences will run consecutive to Greene's present two-year, nine-month prison sentence for armed robbery.

Upon hearing the sentence, Greene became unruly -- for the second time during the proceedings -- prompting Mrs. Mapp to cite him for contempt of court.

Mrs. Mapp added an additional three-month prison term to Greene's sentence.

TWO TEENS REMANDED CTS Two teens remanded Two teenagers were remanded in custody yesterday while awaiting social inquiry reports which will examine why they broke a man's jaw.

Ricardo Stephens and Marcal Moniz, both of Cedar Hill, Warwick, both pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to unlawfully doing grievous bodily harm to Scott Tucker, of Warwick, on September 25.

Police prosecutor Sgt. Anthony Mouchette said Mr. Tucker was sitting on a wall, near the Salvation Army on Cedar Hill, talking to a woman.

When the woman left, Stephens and Moniz approached the man and asked him what he had said to the woman.

Sgt. Mouchette said Stephens slapped and punched Mr. Tucker in the face while Moniz watched and laughed.

Moniz then joined in and slapped the man in the face.

Moniz, who is on two years probation for an undisclosed offence, admitted to Police that he slapped the man in the face but denied breaking his jaw.

Mrs. Mapp ordered both youths remanded in custody while a social inquiry report was conducted on them. The matter was adjourned until December 12.

THIEF GETS NINE MONTHS CTS Thief gets nine months Stealing a bike earned a 24-year-old man a nine-month prison sentence yesterday.

Germel Williams, presently serving time at Westgate for an undisclosed offence, pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to stealing a red cycle sometime between August 3 and 4.

Police prosecutor Sgt. Anthony Mouchette said the owner of the cycle parked her bike in front of the Number One Shed, on Front Street, on August 3.

When she returned she discovered the bike was missing.

On August 4, Williams was seen speeding on the bike and was stopped by Police.
