A bag containing fruit and an empty bottle was thrown from the rear off side of the eastbound bus, striking the front offside window of the westbound bus causing it to crack.

No-one was injured and Police inquiries are underway.

During a brief struggle the suspect reached into the victim's pocket and removed an amount of cash, He then fled along Tulo Valley Lane and despite being chased by Police escaped.

COLLEGE WORKSHOP SET CON College workshop set The Education Ministry will next week sponsor a free workshop for parents on the college admissions process.

Entitled "Navigating the College Admissions Process'', the workshop will feature Ron Ancrum, president of RAPA Inc. and president of the Institute for Responsive Education, Karen Mapp.
