Defence and prosecution lawyers were only able to identify 36 impartial jurors instead of the required 45 for the pool. They are then supposed to select 12 jurors and three alternates for the trial.

Flood has been charged with causing the death of 57-year-old Vincello (Johnny Peppers) Richardson. Richardson was found floating in St. George's Harbour in December of last year. He had suffered severe head injuries.
